Yi Wang, Ph.D.

MRX – MR eXchange member Dr. Yi Wang, Ph.D.

Dr. Yi Wang completed her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah in 2014, where she researched various MR tissue properties in MR guided focused ultrasound for non-invasive breast cancer treatment. She also obtained postdoctoral training in MRI Neuroscience at the Department of Neurology, University of California, Los Angeles from 2012 to 2016. Prior to her Ph.D. degree, she obtained a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering where she developed a computer-aided diagnosis tool for breast cancer detection and diagnosis.  Dr. Wang is Clinical Scientist at Philips MR. In this role she is responsible for MRI collaborations with clinical and research partners, and feasibility research for new clinical solutions.  Her current research interests include clinical applications of non-contrast perfusion imaging, as well as advanced fast acquisition techniques to achieve fast and robust imaging.
