A great way to support the Department of Radiology is through the Radiology Chair's Fund for Excellence.
This fund allows the department to pursue its mission by supporting research, teaching, patient care, and other departmental priorities at the discretion of the chair.

The Radiology Research Fund supports our vital research activities which encompass basic translational outcomes and clinical research.
Minoshima/Anzai Fellowship for Radiology Imaging Science Research
Established by Satoshi Minoshima, M.D., Ph.D., and Yoshimi Anzai, M.D., MPH, this endowment was established under the Faculty-Staff-Retiree Campaign for Students matching program. This fund is meant to support imaging research conducted by students, residents, and/or fellows in the Department of Radiology.
Shaw-Howe Endowed Fund in Radiology
Established by Dennis W. Shaw, M.D., and Julie E. Howe, JD., to provide student support for Radiology's research program.

Charles A. Rohrmann, Jr., M.D. Endowment for Radiology Resident Educational Excellence
The Charles A. Rohrmann, Jr., M.D. Endowment for Radiology Resident Educational Excellence supports UW Medicine's Department of Radiology resident education and research program, including technology, equipment, teaching protocols, conference opportunities and curriculum development.
Michael and Rebecca McGoodwin Endowment for Radiology Resident and Fellow Training and Education
Dr. Michael McGoodwin, UW Radiology Resident ’75, NucMed Resident ‘76, established the Michael and Rebecca McGoodwin Endowment for Radiology Resident and Fellow Training and Education to provide broad-based direct financial support to residents and fellows in the Department of Radiology.
Norman and Anne Beauchamp Endowed Fund for Radiology
Dr. Norman J. Beauchamp Jr. (chair from 2002-2016), and his wife Kristina established the Norman and Anne Beauchamp Endowed Fund for Radiology in honor of Dr. Beauchamp's mother who was a social worker dedicated to the underserved. This fund recognizes residents doing projects that serve the underserved.
Lee Family Endowed Fund for Radiology
This endowment was created through the Faculty-Staff-Retiree Campaign for Students by Donghoon Lee, PhD, Research Professor in the Department of Radiology. Its purpose is to support students in the Department of Radiology
Kenneth R. Maravilla Endowed Neuroradiology Fellowship Fund
This endowment was established with gifts from faculty members who wished to pay tribute to Dr. Kenneth Maravilla and to provide financial awards to neuroimaging fellows in the Department of Radiology.

This fund supports the educational activities of fellows in the Department of Radiology, including research, participation in conferences and supplies.
Pierre Vesselle, M.D., Endowed Memorial Fellowship
This endowment was established in 2006. Its purpose is to honor the memory of Dr. Pierre Vesselle and to support fellows conducting brain tumor research in the Department of Radiology, with first priority given to books, periodicals, subscriptions, and other written materials that the fellow needs.
