EDI Committee

Our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) committee is comprised of faculty and staff working on creating a more equitable and inclusive environment in our department. The EDI Committee is comprised of five subcommittees: Retention and Recruitment, Recognition, Build a Pipeline, Education and Mentorship, and Services and Scholarships.

For all of our trainee, faculty, and staff recruitment efforts, we require our search committee members to undergo DEI and implicit bias training. UW DEI and Implicit Bias Training for Hiring Managers can be found on the University of Washington Human Resources website.
