For Patients
The University of Washington’s breast imaging program is one of the best in the nation. Our patients are cared for by UW physicians with comprehensive breast imaging services (screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and breast procedures) based at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and UW Medical Center-Northwest.
Our breast imaging program serves the greater Seattle area with screening mammography locations at the Roosevelt Breast Health Clinic, Eastside Specialty Center, and a Mobile Screening Van.
To Schedule an Appointment
A screening mammogram is performed in patients without symptoms (focal pain or a lump). A diagnostic mammogram is performed in women who have symptoms and an order from your provider is required prior to performing this exam. If you have symptoms, please talk with your care team to ensure we perform the appropriate breast imaging exam for you during your visit.
