Apply for AY 2023-2024

The University of Washington Department of Radiology, Section of Breast Imaging, is currently recruiting for one non-ACGME breast imaging fellow for the academic year beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024. The one-year fellowship provides extensive experience in all aspects of breast imaging and intervention at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA. The fellow will join three additional breast imaging fellows and eight dynamic and dedicated physician leaders in breast imaging.

Applicants must have a M.D. degree and have completed a diagnostic radiology residency or are in their final year of a diagnostic radiology residency. This 100% breast imaging fellowship year takes place in a multidisciplinary, collegial environment with no general radiology call responsibilities. There are, however, ample and voluntary internal moonlighting opportunities for additional pay. We provide the full gamut of scholarly opportunities, including educational projects as well as data-driven projects, with dedicated time away from clinic. Seattle offers year-round outdoor activities at everyone’s fingertips with a comparatively affordable housing rental market.
