Biography

Sara K. Toppin PA-C is a teaching associate in the Department of Radiology, Division of Interventional Radiology. She is a board-certified PA-C and practices primarily at the Non-Vascular Intervention (NVI) unit.

Sara completed her Bachelor of Clinical Health Sciences degree at MEDEX Northwest of the University of Washington. Prior to completing her PA-C training, she is also a board-certified and trained Respiratory Therapist with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Respiratory Therapy from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls. Sara is an expert in multiple imaging modalities including ultrasound and fluoroscopy and has performed an array of procedures including but not limited to, paracentesis, thoracentesis, central venous access, joint injections, biopsies, sinograms, sentinel node injections, and central venous access removal.

Sara enjoys travelling, reading, and fitness in her free time.
