Biography

Dr. Ethan Hua serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Director of IR Medical Student Clerkship, and Director of Harborview Medical Center (HMC) IR, at the University of Washington. He completed his B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and his medical degree (M.D.) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He then completed his Integrated Residency in Interventional Radiology at the University of Washington. Dr. Hua is board certified in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. His clinical interests include trauma interventions, venous disease, portal hypertension, tumor ablation, and palliative/end-of-life care.

Dr. Hua sees patients at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC) campuses in Montlake, Harborview, and Northwest in Seattle. Outside the hospital, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and surfing.
