Biography

Dr. Ethan Hua serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. For the Interventional Radiology Section, he serves as the Medical Director at Harborview Medical Center and Course Director for the Medical Student Clerkship.

Dr. Hua completed his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). He completed his Medical Degree at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He completed his Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency at the University of Washington (UW) and joined the UW faculty in 2022. 

Dr. Hua is board certified in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. His clinical interests include bone and soft tissue tumor ablations (including desmoid fibromatosis), vascular malformations, women’s health interventions, trauma interventions, and medical education. He sees patients at the University of Washington Medical Center campuses at Montlake, Harborview, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. Outside the hospital, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and surfing.
