Manjiri Dighe, M.D., named Fellow of American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine

Manjiri Dighe, M.D., FSAR, FSRU, FAIUM, was recently named a fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM).

The AIUM honors people annually who have significantly contributed to the growth and development of diagnostic ultrasound. Those who have achieved AIUM Fellow status have “demonstrated a commitment to both the AIUM and to medical ultrasound,” AIUM said.

Candidates must meet eligibility requirements and submit a comprehensive application that demonstrates their contributions to medical ultrasound, as well as secure letters of recommendations. Candidates are then reviewed by a committee and approved by the AIUM Board of Governors.
