Dr. Xiaoming Yang Awarded Multi-Million Dollar NIH Research Grant
Dr. Xiaoming Yang has received a 5 year research grant from the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering of the National Institute of Health for $2.5 million. This is his 6th research grant from the NIH, totaling $15 million.
His new grant, “Development of a 3D multi-modal perfusion-thermal electrode system” will explore new methods for ablation (destruction) of solid tumor organs.
