The Musculoskeletal Imaging Research Group prioritizes translational research and quantitative assessment of imaging biomarkers, with the intent to provide techniques for reliable and quantitative analysis of pathologies, disease progression, and treatment response with imaging.

Recent work with UW Research colleagues Firoozeh Shomal Zadeh, Mehrzad Shafiei, Ehsan Alipour, Nastaran Hosseini, Hoiwan Cheung, Atefe Pooyan, Arash Azhideh, Visiting Assistant Professor Sara Haseli, and Section Head Majid Chalian has included the topic of comparing percutaneous ultra-sound guided needed tetonomy.
