Biography

Dr. Chu has been a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Neuroradiology and Emergency Radiology sections since 10/1/22, working at Harborview Medical Center and the University of Washington Medical Center.  

Previously, his faculty positions were as a Clinical Instructor with Neuroradiology at the University of Washington and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. 

His former hospital positions were at the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and Fraser Health Authority in Vancouver, BC, and the UW Medicine-Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA, and the MultiCare Auburn Medical Center in Auburn, WA. 

He graduated with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of University of British Columbia in 1995. He completed his radiology residency program at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg in 2000, and his Neuroradiology fellowship from the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. 

He is a member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, Washington State Radiological Society (WSRS), Washington State Medical Association (WSMA), American Medical Association (AMA). Western Neuroradiogical Society (WNRS), Canadian Medical Association (CMA), Canadian Association of Radiologists (CAR), and the Canadian Society of Neuroradiology (CSNR). 

You can usually catch him watching football, hockey, soccer, or other sporting events during his spare time.
