Biography
Dr. Gulhane has completed her diagnostic radiology residency in India in 2015. She was certified as a level III expert in advanced cardiovascular imaging after a visiting scholarship in cardiovascular imaging at the Perelman School of Advanced Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (2017-18).
She is a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR), USA since 2019.
Her areas of research in cardiac imaging include image integration for cardiac MRI guided ventricular tachycardia ablations, Cardiac MRI of cardiac implantable electronic devices, CMR in Electrophysiology, CT derived fractional flow reserve in TAVR patients and quantitative susceptibility mapping on CMR in patients with reperfusion injury.
She has several awards to her credit including the prestigious NASCI 2022-2024 Seed grant award. She was selected for presenting her research at the AHA cutting edge technology awards on two occasions at NASCI in 2018 and 2020. She has conducted several national and international clinical workshops and CMEs for training radiologists and cardiologists in cardiac imaging. She is a distinguished reviewer for Radiology-Cardiothoracic imaging and Radiology – Artificial intelligence. She is an executive committee member of several international societies such as AHA, SCMR and NASCI.
Dr. Gulhane started her 4-year alternate pathway for American Board of Radiology certification at the University of Washington in 2021. She pursued a research fellowship in nuclear and molecular cancer imaging at UW (2020-2022). She is a part of clinical trials on PSMA PET for prostate cancer and theranostic research on Lu 177 Dotatate therapy in metastatic neuroendocrine tumors at the Fred Hutch Cancer Center, Seattle.
Dr. Gulhane completed a two-year clinical fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging at University of Washington, Seattle. Presently, Dr. Gulhane has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in Cardiothoracic Radiology, University of Washington, USA.
