Dr. Suleeporn Sujichantararat awarded UW Data Science Postdoctoral Fellowship

Congratulations to postdoctoral scholar Suleeporn “Yui” Sujichantararat, PhD, who has been accepted into UW’s eScience Institute as a Postdoctoral Fellow! 

The eScience Institute collaborates with students, faculty, and researchers across the UW and beyond to leverage data science tools including machine learning, data visualization and cloud computing for making sense of large, complex datasets. Data Science Postdoctoral Fellows are interdisciplinary researchers actively developing or utilizing advanced data science tools and techniques in their work at UW. The UW data science postdoctoral fellowship provides research support and valuable networking opportunities.

Dr. Sujichantararat’s research focuses on applying artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to extract valuable information from breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exams to improve breast cancer surveillance and treatment. Participation in the eScience program will allow Dr. Sujichantararat to both expand her existing skillset in data science methods as well as share her knowledge and expertise with others inside and outside the program.
