I attended the Society for Advanced Body Imaging (SABI) meeting in Washington D.C., Oct. 5 – 9, 2024. I delivered an oral presentation on our work funded by the grant, titled “Assessing the Impact of an AI-Assisted Prioritization System on Cervical Spine Fracture Detection through CT Imaging in the Outpatient Setting.”
In addition to this talk, I participated in another presentation: “Impact of DWI Absence in Prostate Lesion Assessment Using PI-RADS v2.1” and “Reevaluating Diagnostic Confidence” (both oral presentations).
I presented at the RSNA Annual Meeting Dec. 1 – 5, 2024, where our work was again featured in an oral presentation. This talk was highlighted in RSNA news on Dec. 10 and the AuntMinnie news article AI reduces time to interpretation of CT cervical spine exams on Dec. 5.
Furthermore, I was involved in another presentation titled “Reevaluating Diagnostic Confidence: The Impact of Delayed Excretory Phase Imaging in CT-IVP on Detecting Renal and Urinary Tract Abnormalities” (oral presentation), and “A Step-by-Step Guide to Integration of Medical AI Tools into Radiology Practice” (poster presentation).
This work was made possible with the support of the Charles A. Rohrmann, Jr., MD, Endowment for Radiology Resident Educational Excellence.
