Janie Lee, MD featured on King 5 news

On October 28, King 5 news interviewed  Janie Lee, MD  about breast density communication and mammography. Dense breast tissue can mask breast cancer on mammograms, and Washington laws require physicians to educate patients about breast density and mammogram effectiveness.  When it comes to getting a traditional mammogram versus a three-dimensional one, Dr. Lee advises that it’s more important to get regular mammograms.  “Screening works in women who receive it.”
