Dr. Scheel named Chair & Director of Breast Health Global Initiative

Congratulations to Dr. John Scheel, who was recently appointed as Chair and Director of the Fred Hutch Breast Health Global Initiative (BHGI). BHGI develops, implements and studies evidence-based, economically feasible, and culturally appropriate Guidelines for International Breast Health and Cancer Control for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), to improve breast health outcomes and access to breast cancer screening, detection and treatment for women.
