Dr. Lindsay Eysenbach presented at the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology
By Dr. Lindsay Eysenbach, Interventional Radiology Resident
With the support of the Charles A. Rohrmann, Jr., MD, Endowment for Radiology Resident Educational Excellence, I attended the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology (SPIR) meeting in Toronto, CA this October. I presented two abstracts, “Risk Factors for symptomatic venous malformation recurrence following glue embolization” and “Balloon-assisted embolization of pediatric peripheral arteriovenous malformations using the Scepter Mini,” based on research conducted with my mentors at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Doctors Joseph Reis, Giri Shivaram and Aaron Bogart.
Attending SPIR was also a valuable opportunity for me to meet pediatric interventional radiologists from across the country and the world, and to learn about exciting new directions in the field. I am immensely grateful to the Rohrmann Fund for making this fantastic experience possible.
