Dr. Thomas Pérez discovers “limitless opportunities” at the RSNA Annual Meeting
By Dr. Thomas Pérez, Interventional Radiology Resident
I have immense gratitude for the Charles A. Rohrmann Endowment for Radiology Resident Educational Excellence for enabling my participation in the 2024 Radiological Society of North America annual meeting (RSNA) in Chicago, Illinois. Support from the fund allowed me to attend my first radiology conference while presenting my educational review on pneumatosis intestinalis and its relation to solid organ transplantation. I’d like to extend an additional thank you to Minal Jagtiani, MD, for supporting this work and allowing me the opportunity to work alongside her in the creation of this presentation.
The sheer scope of RSNA and the educational opportunities available were immense, with limitless opportunities to attend sessions being presented by experts in the field and to hear first hand the newest research within the field. Not only that, but as someone interested in medical technology, I was able to talk and network with professionals from academic institutions and industry in my areas of interest. I am truly grateful for the Rohrmann Endowment for making this opportunity possible and available to residents.
