Minjiang Chen Received 2017 RSNA Trainee Research Prize
Minjiang Chen, MS received the 2017 RSNA Trainee Research Prize, which is now the fifteenth RSNA awarded to Dr. Yang’s research team.
In 1994, the RSNA Program Committee, chaired by William M. Thompson, MD, began a program to recognize the contribution of residents to the RSNA Annual Meeting: the Research Trainee Prize. The Research Trainee Prize was expanded in 1999 to include fellows and in 2004 to include medical students; in 2005, it was renamed the Trainee Research Prize. Each subcommittee of the Program Committee may award three prizes each year: one prize for the best paper or scientific poster submitted by a resident or physics trainee, one prize for the best paper or poster submitted by a fellow, and one prize for the best paper or poster submitted by a medical student.
