Diana Lam, MD

Dr. Lam is a physician at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and a University of Washington acting assistant professor of radiology. Her clinical practice includes all aspects of breast imaging, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, tomosynthesis, and breast interventional procedures. Her research interests include improving communication and delivery of care to patients, patient and trainee education, and integrating patient and imaging factors to help personalize screening and surveillance regimens for woman with a personal history of breast cancer. She is dedicated to providing compassionate care to all her patients. She grew up in Northern California and earned her bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She then returned to California and received her M.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine and completed her radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship at the University of Washington.

As a breast imager, she is dedicated to using evidence-based, state-of-the-art technology for the early detection and optimal treatment of breast cancer. She believes in actively engaging patients in their care through education, clear communication, and supporting their individual values. She is honored to work with a team of specialized physicians and technologists who are sincerely invested in the compassionate care for patients and looks forward to meeting and serving you and your family.
