Biography

Dr. Iyer is the Section Chief of Pediatric Radiology and the Medical Director of Radiology at Seattle Children’s Hospital (SCH), as well as a Pediatric Radiologist at SCH and a Professor of Radiology at the University of Washington. He serves as Vice-Chair of Education for UW Radiology, and Medical Staff President-Elect at SCH.

Dr. Iyer is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology, Pediatric Radiology, and Neuroradiology. His professional interests include quality improvement and educational administration. He has coauthored over 150 peer-reviewed journal publications and the textbook Pediatric Imaging: The Essentials.

Dr. Iyer grew up in Rochester, NY. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Brown University and his M.D. at New York University (NYU). He completed his radiology residency at the University of Washington and his fellowship in pediatric radiology at SCH.
