Dr. Yang is the first faculty member from the Department of Radiology to be inducted into the WSAS.

Dr. Yang was selected “for work as an internationally prominent physician-scientist in the field of image-guided minimally invasive interventional therapies” and “for pioneering contributions and outstanding achievements in developing innovative and cutting-edge medical imaging and interventional radiology for effective management of life-threatening diseases, such as atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and cancer.”
