Body Imaging fellow receives ITHS Early Investigator Catalyst Award

Dr. Achille Mileto was recently chosen by the UW Institute of Translational Health Sciences to receive the ITHS Early Investigator Catalyst Award.

The ITHS Early Investigator Catalyst Award on his project, entitled “Development of a Renal Phantom for Quantitative Validation of Dual Energy CT Techniques in Renal Mass Characterization,” will help Achille accomplish his translational research goals. It is a very competitive process and ITHS received a number of competitive applications from affiliated institutions across the Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho (WWAMI) region. Grants were reviewed for responsiveness to the RFA, scientific merit, and translational focus. Final decisions for funding were made by the Executive Committee of ITHS through a rigorous process.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Mileto on this excellent accomplishment.
