Imaging of cancer continues to be one of the mainstays of radiology.  New funding has opened a fellowship position at the University of Washington to focus on this critical area.

The fellow's time will be divided between the University of Washington Medical Center -- a 450-bed Top Ten academic hospital -- and an extremely high quality private practice hospital setting through the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and the Swedish Cancer Institute.  Each facility has a comprehensive full-spectrum oncology service as well as state of the art imaging equipment, including 1.5T and 3.0T MRI (with spectroscopic and functional imaging capability), 64-slice CT scanners, and state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment.

Both clinical and research positions are available.  Because this program is not ACGME certified, it is extremely flexible and configurable. Elective time in cardiac CT/MR, high-risk OB ultrasound, and broad-spectrum abdominal imaging is available.  Research opportunities abound, including functional and metabolic imaging.

We offer a competitive salary in a city with one of the most consistently high quality-of-life ratings in North America.

If you are interested in this exceptional opportunity, please contact us.

This fellowship is funded by Swedish Cancer Institute and applicants must be eligible for a full and unrestricted Washington State Medical License.Foreign medical graduates therefore are NOT ordinarily eligible for this fellowship.

For a quick response, please attach your CV, cover letter, and a completed application. We are actively and expediently reviewing applications. Thank you for your interest!
