Is Multi-Tasking Helpful?

Twitter continues to be an amazing place to find interesting stories in the Radiology field.

Like this one:

I recently took a class titled “Information and Contemplation.” During the class, we engaged in mindful practice. We also experimented with multi- and single-tasking. I learned that if I limited my multi-tasking, my satisfaction with the completion of each task increased.

Paying attention to my behaviors and practices prior to making changes was illuminating in itself.

If you are interested in learning more about mindfulness and technology, I highly recommend the book Mindful Tech, written by my iSchool professor, David Levy

Thanks for reading!
