IR Residency

The UW is proud to welcome its second Interventional Radiology Residency Class. Welcome Class of 2024!

The University of Washington was accredited by the ACGME to begin the IR Residency in April, 2016. We matched our second IR class in March, 2018. Welcome Class of 2024!

The University of Washington offers the IR Residency, Early Specialization in IR (ESIR) pathway within the Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and the Independent IR Residency. We will be accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Independent IR Residency via ERAS beginning December 1, 2018. Interviews will be offered in January and February, 2019. Please see the Independent IR Residency page for further details.
