Education

Dr. Bastawrous is a board certified radiologist practicing at the VA Puget Sound, who currently serves in the role of director of ultrasound. She is dual fellowship trained and specializes in body imaging and oncologic imaging. She is an associate professor of radiology at the University of Washington. Dr. Bastawrous trains radiology residents and fellows in CT, ultrasound, MRI and image-guided procedures. 

Dr. Bastawrous completed her medical school from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and continued her radiology residency training in Chicago at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County.
