Sadaf Bhutta, M.B.B.S.Associate Professor
Dr. Bhutta is a pediatric radiologist at Seattle Children’s and a UW associate professor of radiology. In addition to general pediatric radiology, her areas of expertise are in congenital cardiac imaging and pediatric interventional radiology Her main areas of research are cardiac MRI and CT scans for a variety of congenital heart diseases, as well as ways to reduce radiation in patients undergoing CT scans. She has given numerous lectures as invited faculty at national and international meetings regarding cardiac imaging. She is also a founding member of the Society of Pediatric Interventional Radiology and has long-standing interest in minimally invasive procedures for children.
Dr. Bhutta earned her bachelor’s degree from King Edward Medical College in Pakistan and trained in diagnostic radiology and pediatric radiology at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. After nearly 10 years as a faculty member at UAMS, she recently moved to the Northwest and joined UW and Seattle Children’s. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology and pediatric radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
